Description

This course is designed to provide students an overview of the core competencies of the generalist social worker. Students will construct a portfolio of their knowledge, skills and vaules in working with individuals, families, groups community and organizations of diverse populations and the societal conditions in which live. They will reflect their understanding of the complexity of helping vulnerable people in the context of social, economic and environmental justice. They will synthesize the Council of Social Work nine core competencies, and their experiences in the social work program. (Majors ONLY)
