Description

This class will take a retrospective look at social activism in the United States especially as it relates to issues impacting people of color. It will chronicle organizations such as SNCC, CORE, SCLC, NAACP and the Black Panthers and highlight their impact upon current movements such as Black Lives Matter, Me Too and Never Again. It will also expose students to their roles as social activist and how to find their voice.
