Description

Historical and structural study of the English language from the Old English period to modern times. emphasis on changes in English sounds, forms, inflections, and syntax: introduction to modern grammatical systems; and study of word derivations and meanings. Prerequisites: ENGL 2332 and ENGL 2333.
