Description

This course will help students understand the legal, financial, social and policy issues associated with the world of sports both in the amateur and professional levels. The text is a comprehensive examination of the legal developments and cases affecting the secondary, post-secondary, collegiate and professional league sports. The course offers a thorough mix of traditional and cutting-edge legal precedents and practices, to help students answer many of the difficult questions on amateur and professional sports that they will face in their careers as athletes and representatives of athletes.
