Description

This course introduces students to Artificial Intelligence (AI) with an emphasis on ethical, responsible, and productive use in academic and professional contexts. Students learn how to use Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT to support writing, research, data analysis, presentations, and multimedia creation using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images and video tools. The course emphasizes academic integrity, transparency, and critical evaluation of AI-generated content. It introduces college students to Artificial Intelligence (AI) with a focus on ethical, responsible, and productive use of AI tools in academic and professional settings.

The course emphasizes: AI as a learning and productivity assistant, not a replacement for human thinking Academic integrity, transparency, and disclosure Evaluation of AI-generated content for accuracy, bias, and reliability. Understanding inappropriate and harmful uses of AI and how to avoid them Create basic images and short videos using AI tools while respecting copyright and attribution.
