Description

This course teaches students the history, business impact, the cultural roots of the multi-billion-dollar sports industry. Throughout the course, students will meet special guest speakers from the sports industry. Students will learn about career paths and how to create future opportunities for employment in Sports. The course will examine the lives and importance of Serena Williams, Tiger Woods, Wayne Gretzky, Babe Ruth, Joe Louis, Jackie Robinson, Muhammad Ali and other athletes, as well as the economic, social impact of the games we watch.
