Description

This course provides foundational knowledge & practice of interviewing & the process of recording data for pastoral intervention. The course serves as an experiential laboratory for building acute listening, interviewing & writing skills. Fifteen essential interviewing skills are analyzed for their appropriate application with various populations, particularly with persons of cultural differences. The second component of the course focuses on the process recording of information received from the interview process.
