The course is an introduction to the fundamental principles of life processess of all forms of living organisms to include the history of biology, cell reproduction, Mendelian genetics, basic biochemistry, and cell metabolism with emphasis on the cellular and sub-cellular and sub-cellular aspects of biology. Three hours of lecture per week. Co-Requisite: BIOL 1006.
